Let me develop this Python backend/script which lets you ingests a supplied MP3 and automatically extracts musical information such as BPM, time signature, overall tempo, integrated loudness, phrase boundaries and sections of complete silence, into a CSV. As you've recommended, my approach will be to use librosa, Essentia, pydub or similar libraries. As for the REST backend, Flask is a lightweight option that we should consider.
