I need a seasoned sound engineer who can be physically present in St Petersburg, Florida for two short engagements at our church. You will have full control of our complete sound system, including a digital mixer, house PA, stage wedges, and our wired vocal microphones. Key dates and times • Wednesday 6/24 – rehearsal, 2pmPM – 3;30PM (may wrap up closer to 3PM) • Friday 6/28 – sound-check and service, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM During both sessions you’ll balance three distinct sources: live musicians (piano and possible additional instruments), stereo backing tracks, and two lead vocalists on wired mics. Your goal is to establish clear, feedback-free levels in rehearsal, then reproduce that same balanced mix on service day. Deliverables • Smooth, well-blended front-of-house mix and consistent stage monitoring • Accurate gain structure for backing tracks versus live instrumentation • Scene or snapshot saved on the console so settings recall instantly on 6/28 • Quick troubleshooting of any unexpected noise or routing issues A solid track record mixing live worship or similar small-venue events is essential. If you’re comfortable riding faders on the fly, cueing tracks, and keeping spoken word moments crisp, I’d love to hear about your experience and the consoles you’ve worked on.

Hello, I am an experienced live sound engineer with a strong background in small-venue and church worship audio production, and I can be physically present in St. Petersburg, Florida for both scheduled sessions. I will manage your full audio system end-to-end, including digital mixer operation, house PA tuning, stage monitor balancing, and wired vocal microphone control. My focus will be on achieving a clean, feedback-free, and well-balanced mix between live musicians, stereo backing tracks, and lead vocals. During the rehearsal session, I will establish proper gain structure, EQ, and mix balance, and save a complete console scene/snapshot for instant recall. On service day, I will reproduce and fine-tune that mix to ensure consistency and reliability throughout the event. I am also comfortable handling live adjustments, troubleshooting signal flow issues, and maintaining clarity during spoken and musical segments. I prioritize smooth worship flow, minimal distractions, and professional, dependable sound reinforcement.
