Bedrock Engineering Ltd., a licensed engineering firm in the State of Ohio, will evaluate and develop a design for the existing residential control panel supporting the home’s Internet, Audio/Visual (AV), and Television (TV) systems in Springboro, Ohio. The existing panel contains approximately 14 coaxial cables, 8 Ethernet (Cat5/6) cables, and several unidentified low-voltage cables routed throughout the residence. Several coax cables appear shortened and will require proper termination during installation. Engineering services include evaluation of the existing enclosure, cable identification, and development of a recommended communications panel layout. The proposed architecture is expected to include coax termination blocks, an Ethernet patch panel, network switch location, modem/router mounting, structured cable management, a grounding/bonding bar, and a local disconnect with duplex receptacle located inside the panel. DIN-rail or backplate mounting may be used to improve organization and serviceability. Bedrock Engineering will provide one (1) drawing package including a one-line diagram, point-to-point wiring diagram, and bill of materials (BOM) identifying recommended equipment and panel components. This proposal covers engineering evaluation and design only. Equipment procurement, installation labor, cabling, electrical work, materials, panel fabrication, and commissioning are excluded and may be performed by the owner or others under separate agreement.
