Mozambican Portuguese is the part of this job most people will quietly skip over in their bid. It matters. A transcriber trained on Brazilian or European Portuguese will hear "bue" and write nothing, or write something wrong, and you find it three files later when you're already reading for content. How I work: a first pass produces a full timestamped draft fast, then I go through it against the audio by ear and fix what the first pass got wrong. That second pass is the whole job. It's where crosstalk gets untangled, where overlapping speakers get separated properly, and where anything genuinely unclear gets marked [inaudível 00:14:22] rather than guessed at. You'll get: speaker labels, timestamps at your chosen interval, and a clean Word or Docs file per interview. Included without being asked: a short index at the top of each transcript, timestamps against the three or four points where the subject actually says something you'll want to find again. On a 60-minute interview that saves you the re-listen. Where I'd be wrong for you: if you need a certified or sworn transcript for legal use, that isn't me. Send one file, the messiest one you have.
