What decides whether a card game sounds good is not the quality of any single effect. It is repetition. A player hears card place hundreds of times in one session, and a single sample, however nice, becomes a tic by minute ten. So the pack I would build gives the high-frequency actions three or four variants each -- deal, place, draw, button -- meant to be played round-robin with a small random pitch offset in engine. The rare ones, win, lose, reward, can be single and characterful. That distinction is most of the craft here and it costs nothing to plan for at the start. Second thing, and it catches people out: mix for a phone speaker, not headphones. Those drivers produce almost nothing low, so an effect built around a satisfying thud vanishes on the device it ships on. The weight has to sit in the mid range. I check every sound on an actual handset before it counts as done. On voice, AI callouts are fine for this provided the licence genuinely permits commercial use in a shipped game. I would confirm that in writing rather than assume it, because terms differ by provider and by plan, and it is your product that carries the risk. Delivered as wav, consistent loudness across the set, named to match your event keys so integration is a drop-in. Make the first milestone three sounds -- deal, place, win. Judge the style in your own build before I make the rest.
