The client have a simple ASPX form in which a user selects an integer (0-100) from a drop down list. They also select a file to upload.
When pressing the submit button, the script should create a server-side folder and save the uploaded file into it (renaming it to a standard name like: "[url removed, login to view]". Then, store the name of the folder in the users record (in an access database), and launch a universal server-side batch file with the folder name and selected integer (from the form) as parameters.
I'm open to further development work outsourced to the right candidate as this component is only one of many included in this project.

I am altering this project -
instead of launching a server-side .bat file - the script should make the appropriate calls directly to AWS (amazon web services). The development kit for AWS aspx/c# is publicly available, and the script I need can be contained in just a few lines. The script will still create a server-side folder, and store that folder name in the users database record. It will then make a call to the page: "https://cloudformation.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/?" using parameters from the upload file form (the integer drop down boxes)...
Here is a sample:
THE TWO PARAMETERS ARE PASSED FROM THE ORIGINAL SCRIPT (FROM THE DROP-DOWN BOXES).
The other elements of this URL are always static.
The above URL is NOT correct as I'm not experienced enough with AWS ASPX API to get it working correctly. However this should be a simple task - I also can provide access to AWS support for assistance with the code construction if necessary ( I have a paid support account ).
The AWS ASPX/C# documentation can be found here:
We are going to scrap the server-side .bat file in favor of just having a SINGLE script to create a folder, save the uploaded file there, reference the location in the database, and call the appropriate dynamically constructed URL (as referenced above).
I need someone to get this working.
Thanks for your consideration!
