Hello, my name is San (short for Sally-Anne). I am very interested in your project to write four newsletters a month highlighting news and other information of interest to the real estate industry.
Why choose me? Well, I am a trained professional writer with two decades of experience, I have consideerable experience writing newsletters of this type, I live in NSW, I own property and I am familiar with the Fair Trading website.
My most recent relevant experience is my full-time work with the Australian Taxation Office, which I left recently after more than five years' employment. (As a result of this job, I am also familiar with capital gains tax provisons, negative gearing and deductions for rental properties). The tax office produces regular monthly or quarterly email newsletters on a number of tax subjects, and superannuation. As one of five senior writer/editors, my job was to ensure content was suitable to be published, which often involved entirely rewriting initial drafts.
My background is that I have worked full-time for national newspaper, magazine and book publishers in Australia and for two Australian government departments ( primary industries as well as tax). I have also been the editor of Choice magazine, so I am familiar with consumer law.
I am fairly new to Freelancer but as my limited feedback indicates, I have the expertise and desire to do a good job for you.
