Experienced Pet Writers Wanted

The ideal candidates should have a deep interest in pet ownership and pet care. You need to have a knack for writing featured posts, deals content and short-form posts, ranging from products and services to how-tos and advice columns.

This is a part-time freelance role, though our aim is to shape it into a consistent, long-term working relationship with increasing the commitment down the line.

We are looking for writers who can settle into one of the following categories, and feel comfortable 'owning' that space for our site and are excited about becoming the leading voice in the space:

Culture - This new section covers everything hot and trendy, like funny pets on social media and fun videos

Getting started - This section covers health and wellness topics as well as a few interesting long-term projects

Dogs - All things dogs! Gear, housing, food, treats and coverage on all stages of a dog's life cycle

Cats - All things cats and kittens! Behavior, litter, food and everything else cat owners want to read about

Other animals - This catch-all section covers things like hamsters, gerbils, snakes, reptiles, and other pets
