Scope of Work for Content Writing for Concierge Medicine Practices – Long Term Opportunity
I am looking for a person to write a weekly newsletter to my primary care physicians. These physicians run a concierge medical practice which means they only manage around 250-600 total patients. The normal primary care doctor will manage 1400 to 2400 patients. Concierge doctors have more time with patients and the patients pay extra money for this service. For our model, the patient is paying extra for a comprehensive annual physical which is like an Executive Style Physical and a secondary benefit is more time with the doctor.
I will pay $5-10 per article weekly. Long term project. Ongoing work!
These doctors are mostly between the ages to 50-65 so their concerns are:
- How to market and grow your practice
- How to make your practice more profitable
- How to make the experience with your patient even better
- How to communicate better with your employees
- Time management tips to better improve your life
I need the following:
- Write a weekly article with around 500 words on ways a doctor can market and grow their concierge primary care practice. The bulk of the articles should be focused on this topic. Other topics may include making your practice more profitable, making the patient experience better, communicating better with staff, and maybe life balance.
- Find the top Concierge Medicine and Direct Pay blogs in the industry to review regularly to find good article to share. This lists needs to be kept and shared between us. You will continue to add to this list
- Search LinkedIn for any influencers and groups that deal with Concierge Medicine or Direct Pay
- Find the top influencers in Concierge Medicine and Direct Pay this may include writers, authors, physicians, CEO of companies, etc.
- This article you are writing is more of a summary of the article you find. You will summarize the article and say why the article is good and the reasons for this. The format of this summary will be fairly simple and be used on every article you write. I will provide you this format
- You will also have to find a free photo to go along with the article. The photo should be applicable to the article
- This article will need to be added into my iContact account weekly. This is how I send out the newsletter for these doctors. The article will need to be proofed for spelling, grammar, look, spacing, etc. iContact is like Constant Contact.
- A word version of this article will need to be provided to me
- I will provide key words for my industry and you will need to add these key words in the title of the article along with the body of the article.
Expertise or Knowledge in the following areas will be preferred:
- Medical article and blog writing
- SEO general knowledge
- Ability to upload free photos for each article
- WordPress and iContact
- Ability to publish articles in online free sources like Ezine
- Knowledge of sending articles across multiple social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
- LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
Approximately Time per Week:
- This single weekly article should take approximately 1 to 2 hours weekly to research, write, find the photo, write in Word, add to iContact. I prefer for this to take 1 hours weekly.
Growth of position:
I would like to expand this position to include additional articles weekly in other areas of medicine like pharmacogenetics, which is how your body and your DNA responds to drugs and medications. This is an additional business I will be starting soon.
This person may be used to write my blog, website, email newsletter, etc for me personally, and for future businesses.
This person could be responsible for my social media messaging for me personally and for my next business Pharmacogenetics Now.
