USD 20/hour, with 20 hours as both the weekly limit and total project cap (USD 400). This covers one agreed municipal extent, up to 10 geometry layers/100,000 features and 20 simple digitised features from authorised georeferenced references, one layout and one correction round. All intake, cleaning, QA, communication and revision time is included; I bill actual active work only. Before acceptance, we will agree the entire six-theme inventory, source dates/licences and accuracy checks. I will source reliable open layers; you supply authorised utility/land-use data where current open coverage is insufficient. I cannot certify a comprehensive current municipal inventory from incomplete public data. After complete inputs and funding: days 1–2 gather/clean, 3–4 style/export, 5–7 check and deliver. My Mumbai experience is current source research; my QGIS evidence is internal synthetic cleanup, projection, save/reopen and export testing.

Hi, I'm a licensed land surveyor working with GIS and coordinate systems every day (QGIS as my main tool, plus Python for geoprocessing). My approach for Greater Mumbai: 1. Data gathering: municipal/admin boundaries, transport corridors, water bodies, land use and POIs from authoritative open sources (OpenStreetMap, government open data portals, Natural Earth), plus any data you supply. I'll list every source and its licence. 2. Cleaning: reproject everything to WGS 84 / UTM Zone 43N (EPSG:32643), fix geometry and topology errors, standardise attribute tables and layer names. 3. Cartography: QGIS project with saved styles (.qml/.sld), A1 PDF and 4K PNG exports. 4. Web: lightweight tiled layers ready for Leaflet (or ArcGIS Online upload).
