I have a brand-new social media Android app that needs a focused, 14-day quality-assurance push. The core mission is to stress-test the Photo/Video Uploading component from every possible angle—different devices, OS versions, connection speeds, file sizes, orientations, permissions, and background states. Scope of work • Install the latest APK I provide each day (or whenever a new build drops). • Exercise every upload path: camera capture, gallery selection, multiple-file batches, cancel/resume flows, and share-sheet entries. • Log and reproduce crashes, hangs, or UI glitches; capture screen recordings or screenshots plus exact steps, device model, and Android version. • Note performance hiccups such as slow encoding, timeouts, or memory spikes; capture Android Studio logcat traces when available. • Verify that successfully posted media renders properly in the feed and user profile. Deliverables (daily) 1. Structured bug report in my template (CSV or Jira ticket). 2. Supporting media: screenshots, screen recordings, and logcat files. 3. Quick summary of coverage: devices tested, upload scenarios attempted, pass/fail counts. Acceptance criteria for final hand-off • All foreground and background upload scenarios thoroughly exercised across at least three distinct device/OS combos. • Every discovered issue reported with reproducible steps and evidence. • End-of-sprint summary that groups defects by severity and recommends next steps. No need to dive into other modules—messaging, feed scrolling, etc.—unless they block the upload journey. Tools like Android Studio, ADB, and popular device farm services (Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or similar) are welcome if you already use them; just reference any external logs clearly in your reports. The timeline is firm: two weeks from the day you receive the first build. Let’s make sure every user’s photo or video reaches their followers flawlessly.

Hi, I can handle the full 14-day QA push with a focused approach on the Photo/Video Uploading component and provide consistent daily coverage as new APK builds are released. I’ll systematically test camera capture, gallery selection, multi-file uploads, cancel/resume, share-sheet entries, permissions, orientation changes, background/foreground transitions, varying file sizes, network conditions, and failure/retry scenarios across at least three distinct Android device/OS combinations. For every defect, I’ll provide clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, device/Android details, severity, and supporting screenshots or screen recordings. Where available, I can also capture and attach ADB/Android Studio logcat evidence and investigate performance issues such as encoding delays, timeouts, hangs, and memory-related problems. Each day I’ll deliver: • Structured CSV/Jira-ready bug reports • Screenshots, recordings, and logs • Device/scenario coverage summary • Upload pass/fail results At the end, I’ll provide a consolidated sprint report grouping defects by severity, identifying recurring issues, and recommending priorities for the next build. I’ll keep the testing focused on the upload journey while checking adjacent modules only when they affect successful posting or rendering. Regards

Hi, I can run a focused 14-day QA sprint specifically around the photo/video upload journey, with daily regression against each new APK build. I’ll systematically test camera/gallery uploads, multi-file batches, share-sheet entries, cancel/resume, permissions, foreground/background transitions, different media sizes/orientations, and varying network conditions. I’ll also verify that successfully uploaded media renders correctly in both the feed and profile. Every defect will be documented with reproducible steps, device/Android version, expected vs actual behavior, severity, screenshots/recordings, and logcat where available. I’ll maintain the daily CSV/Jira reports and finish with a severity-grouped coverage and defect summary. I can use Android Studio/ADB and structure testing around a clear device/OS matrix rather than ad-hoc exploration. Question: Will the 3+ device/OS combinations be provided as physical devices, or should I cover them through a device-farm service? Best regards, Deepak.

On a major UI/functionality transformation project, I personally identified 500+ defects by going beyond documented requirements and testing unexpected real-user behavior. I can provide daily bug reports, coverage summaries and a final severity-based sprint summary. I’m available to start promptly and can commit to the two-week sprint. Could you confirm the expected daily testing hours and whether access to a device farm will be provided for the additional Android combinations?

Good day! First of all, I understand that you need a focused 14-day QA sprint specifically for the Photo/Video Uploading flow of your Android social media app. I can thoroughly test camera capture, gallery selection, multiple-file uploads, cancel/resume, share-sheet flows, permissions, different file sizes, orientations, network conditions and foreground/background states. I’ll document crashes, UI issues, upload failures and performance problems with clear reproduction steps, device/Android details, screenshots or recordings and logcat evidence where available. I can work with Jira/CSV reporting, Android Studio and ADB, and can test across multiple Android device/OS combinations. I’ll also verify that successfully uploaded media renders correctly in both the feed and user profile. For the final hand-off, I’ll provide a clear coverage summary, severity-based defect report and recommendations for the remaining issues. Questions: Q1. Will you provide access to Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack or physical devices for testing? Q2. Do you already have a specific bug-report template or Jira workflow? Q3. How frequently do you expect daily test reports and build feedback? I’d be happy to start with the first APK and follow the 14-day testing schedule closely. The budget and payment terms can be discussed and mutually finalized after reviewing the complete requirements and scope of work. Thank You!

Hi, New on Freelancer — 20 years of development experience behind us. We're taking our first few projects here at a fraction of our normal rate purely to build our review history. You get senior agency work at junior pricing; we get a review. Straight trade. for a new app like yours, ensuring the upload component can handle high traffic without degrading is critical. I'd start by simulating concurrent uploads to identify bottlenecks. Can you provide access to the app's test environment to begin?

the bugs that matter in an upload flow are not the ones you find uploading a photo on a clean device on wifi. they appear when the world interferes, so that is what the sprint should do deliberately rather than incidentally. concretely: cutting the network mid-transfer to see whether cancel and resume actually resume or quietly restart, backgrounding the app mid-upload and letting doze and android's background limits take their shot at it, revoking the photos permission while a transfer is in flight, filling storage, and taking a call during encode. the highest-value area is the permission model, because it moved underneath everyone. gallery access went from read-external-storage, to granular media permissions at api 33, to partial selected-photos access at api 34. an app written against the old model looks perfect on an older handset and breaks on a current one, and partial access is where i would expect your first real defect. so the matrix should be built around api levels that genuinely differ, not three phones that happen to be nearby. on reporting, every ticket carries the build identifier of the apk it was found on. a reproducible bug against an unknown build is not reproducible. one honest note before anything is agreed: a daily cadence across three device and os combinations, sustained for a fortnight, is a real amount of time. worth confirming the budget is meant to cover all of it. which api levels are you targeting, and what is the lowest you still support?

Hello, Photo/video upload issues are often difficult to reproduce because failures can depend on device state, permissions, network conditions and file characteristics. Studio SJ can run this as a structured 14-day QA sprint, covering: • different Android devices/OS versions and screen sizes • photo/video sizes, formats and orientations • Wi-Fi, mobile data and interrupted/slow connections • camera/gallery permissions and permission changes • foreground, background and interrupted upload states • repeatable regression checks after fixes Defects will be documented with clear reproduction steps, environment details, expected vs actual behaviour, severity and supporting screenshots/video where useful. Success would mean giving your development team an actionable, prioritised defect set rather than simply a list of observations. Do you have specific Android versions/devices you consider highest priority, and will test builds be supplied via APK or Play Store testing? Soné Studio SJ
