Two different things get called combobox filtering - the box searching its own items, and the box filtering a gallery below it. If it's the first, it's usually IsSearchable and SearchFields pointing at columns other than the ones people actually type into. Adding a separate text input on top turns it into a Filter/Search over the same source, and if that source is a decent sized SharePoint or Dataverse list the expression has to stay delegable, otherwise it quietly stops at 500 rows and reads like the filter is broken Send me a screenshot of the screen and what the combobox is bound to, and I'll know which of the two you've got before touching anything On examples, my side is the automation and internal tools end, make and n8n, dashboards, form flows, so instead of linking a gallery I'd rather just do it: give me the app, I'll send it back with the box and the text field behaving, and you judge off that
