First thing I would do is log into the web version and watch what calls it actually makes, because that decides whether we get a clean incremental sync or have to script the export screen. Either way you get a small tool with a date range, a log file showing exactly what synced, and commented source you can extend later. Vyapar has no public API. That is the whole problem, and any bid that does not say so has not looked. So the honest options are three, and they are not equal: 1. Read the local SQLite database the desktop app keeps on disk. Fastest and most complete, works offline, but tied to that machine. 2. Drive the web session with a headless browser and pull the same views your staff sees. Portable, slower, breaks when they change markup. 3. Parse the app backup file. Ugly, but it survives both of the above breaking. I would build 1 as the primary path with 3 as the fallback, because a sync that dies the day Vyapar ships a UI change is not a tool, it is a maintenance bill. Deliverables: Windows CLI plus a small UI for credentials, date range and export. Invoices, purchase bills, line items with rates and quantities, customers, vendors, taxes, discounts. Excel, CSV and JSON out, incremental and full pulls, with a watermark so a rerun does not duplicate rows. Error log and per-run status, commented source and build instructions. I self-host scrapers and data pipelines on my own servers, so retry logic and clean status reporting are the parts I actually enjoy. Bid is 4512 INR, well under my normal rate.
