I need to connect two existing platforms with a clean, secure REST-style API so they can exchange live transaction data. The transactions in question are job information and statuses, and for each job I must be able to push and pull the Job ID, its description, and current status in real time. Both systems already expose basic endpoints, but there is no orchestration layer. Your task is to create that layer: handle token-based authentication on both sides, map the fields one-to-one, manage retries and error logging, and return meaningful HTTP codes so the calling side always knows whether an update succeeded. The Systems to be integrated are Aroflo and IBM Maximo (Both with API Interfaces avalialbe) Deliverables • Source code (preferably Python or Node.js) in a Git repo • A short README that documents all endpoints, required headers, sample requests/responses, and any environment variables • Postman (or similar) collection for quick testing • A basic uptime/error dashboard or log output demonstrating success/failure handling The work is complete when I can trigger a job change in System A and see the correct Job ID, description, and status reflected in System B (and vice-versa) within seconds, with no data loss and clear logs for each transaction.

Hello, The right layer here is a small orchestration API, not direct Aroflo-to-Maximo calls, because token handling, one-to-one Job ID/description/status mapping, retries, and clear HTTP results need one accountable place. - I would build a Node.js/Express service with PostgreSQL for transaction logs. - A React SPA dashboard can show uptime, failed jobs, retry state, and payload traces. - Token auth for Aroflo and Maximo stays in env vars, with admin/viewer dashboard roles. - Core modules: sync endpoints, field mapper, retry queue, and structured error logging. I work mostly on REST APIs, dashboards, and Node.js backends where auditability matters. Do both Aroflo and Maximo need to actively push webhooks, or should the layer also poll one/both systems when events are missing? I can start by confirming the API contracts and mapping the first end-to-end job update. Roman

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I understand you need to connect two existing platforms via a secure REST API for effective data exchange. This integration is crucial for ensuring both systems work well together, but the real challenge often lies in managing data consistency and security. What usually matters most here is the API's architecture. A common issue in systems like this is ensuring both platforms can handle the expected data load without performance issues. The tricky part is usually implementing authentication and permissions effectively for secure data access. My approach would involve designing a clear API structure with well-defined endpoints, focusing on scalability and maintainability. I would implement thorough testing to ensure reliability and make future enhancements easier. I've worked on similar integration projects, setting up APIs that streamline workflows and improve interactions. This experience helps me foresee potential pitfalls and address them proactively. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific data needs to be exchanged between the platforms? Q2 – Are there any existing authentication mechanisms we should integrate? Q3 – Do you have a preferred technology stack for the API development? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello, Your Aroflo and IBM Maximo integration needs more than simple API calls, it needs a reliable sync layer. I can build a Python/Node.js orchestration service with secure token authentication, bi-directional job/status sync, strict field mapping, retries, idempotency, validation, and structured error logging. I’d suggest making it webhook/event-ready, with clear HTTP responses and transaction IDs for traceability. I’ll also provide the Git repo, README, Postman collection, and basic monitoring/log dashboard. The goal: every job update reaches the other system within seconds, reliably and transparently. Happy to discuss the details and get this working smoothly for you. Best, Niral

Hi there, I’m a full-stack developer with 20+ years of experience and 8 years building backend services and REST APIs with Node.js. I can create a reliable integration layer between Aroflo and IBM Maximo for secure, bidirectional job synchronization. I understand this is more than connecting endpoints. The service must manage token authentication, map Job ID, description, and status consistently, support near-real-time updates using webhooks where available or efficient polling otherwise, and prevent silent data loss. I’ll implement validation, safe retries, duplicate protection, structured error logging, and meaningful HTTP responses. You’ll receive clean source code in Git, a practical README, Postman collection, and health/error reporting that makes every transaction traceable. I’ll also test success, authentication, timeout, and partial-failure scenarios. The design will remain easy to extend with additional fields or events. I’d be glad to review both API specifications and confirm the synchronization flow with you.

Hi — Puru here from ErgoSphere. You're essentially building a real-time integration layer between Aroflo and IBM Maximo, focusing on seamless data exchange for job information and statuses. What usually matters most here is ensuring robust token-based authentication and reliable error management to guarantee data integrity across both systems. For this project, I'd recommend using Python with FastAPI for the orchestration layer, leveraging its asynchronous capabilities for handling real-time data efficiently. I prefer Python here over Node.js due to its mature ecosystem for handling retries and logging, which will be crucial for error management. Token-based authentication will be handled securely using OAuth2, and data mapping will be implemented to ensure consistency. The dashboard for monitoring can be built using Grafana with Prometheus for real-time insights. I've worked on AI-first platforms, scalable web applications, and complex API integrations, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – Are there specific transaction volumes you anticipate needing to support? Q2 – Do you have a preferred logging or monitoring solution for the dashboard? Q3 – Is the authentication method for both systems standardized or varies? A working prototype could reasonably be targeted within 3–4 weeks, followed by a polished release in roughly 6 weeks depending on feedback cycles and integration testing. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello, I can build a secure orchestration layer between AroFlo and IBM Maximo to synchronize Job ID, description, and status changes in both directions with near-real-time updates. I would recommend Python with FastAPI or Node.js/TypeScript, using token-based authentication, structured field mapping, retry queues, idempotency controls, and detailed transaction logging to prevent duplicate or lost updates. The integration can expose clean REST endpoints and/or webhooks, return meaningful HTTP status codes, and include resilient error handling for API timeouts, authentication failures, and temporary service interruptions. I will also provide a documented Git repository, README with environment variables and request/response examples, a Postman collection, and basic health/error monitoring. The final workflow will be tested end-to-end so changes from either AroFlo or Maximo are reflected in the other system within seconds where their APIs support real-time events. Best regards

Hi, I can develop a secure REST-style integration layer between Aroflo and IBM Maximo to synchronize job data and statuses in real time. I have already developed similar API integration platforms where multiple systems exchange transactional data securely with token authentication, field mapping, retry mechanisms, and detailed logging. Development approach: • Review and connect both Aroflo & Maximo APIs • Implement token-based authentication and secure API communication • Build one-to-one mapping for Job ID, description, and status • Develop bidirectional real-time synchronization • Add retry logic, timeout handling, validation, and error logging • Return meaningful HTTP status codes for every transaction • Provide configurable environment variables and API endpoints • Create Postman collection with sample requests/responses • Add basic uptime/error monitoring and prepare complete README documentation • Test end-to-end changes in both directions to ensure reliable delivery without data loss I will deliver clean, maintainable source code in Git with proper documentation and testing. Two questions: Do Aroflo and Maximo provide webhooks/event notifications, or should we use polling for near-real-time updates? Are the job status values identical in both systems, or do we need a status mapping layer? Thanks Rahul

The real challenge here is not just connecting Aroflo and IBM Maximo, but making sure job updates never go missing when statuses change in both directions. I’d build this as a small orchestration layer with clear field mapping, token handling on both APIs, retry logic, and logging that makes failures easy to trace instead of becoming silent data issues. I’ve worked on API integrations where the risky part was live status sync, response-code handling, and keeping transaction logs readable for support/testing. For this kind of bridge, Python or Node.js both work well; the main thing is designing the sync flow cleanly so Job ID, description, and status stay consistent within seconds. A Postman collection and concise README can be included so testing is straightforward from day one. - Do you want this to be fully bidirectional immediately, or should one system act as the source of truth first? - Are webhook/event triggers available on both sides, or will one side need short-interval polling?

Two-way job sync between Aroflo and IBM Maximo has one trap: the status echo loop. A change in Maximo pushes to Aroflo, Aroflo reports it as new, and it pushes straight back. I'd tag every write with its source and skip any update the other side already holds. I'd build the layer in Python (FastAPI) with a status mapping table per direction, since Maximo codes like APPR and INPRG won't map one-to-one to Aroflo's job statuses. Each transaction gets an idempotency key, a retry queue with backoff, and one log line with both IDs and the final HTTP code, so nothing fails silently. Maximo can push work order changes out through its integration framework, and for any direction without an outbound hook I'd poll with a last-modified cursor, which still lands within seconds. It's the same kind of Python backend service I build at Beaver Dam Technologies. We can set the first milestone as Aroflo-to-Maximo working end to end with README and Postman collection, done in 5 days and released only when you see a job land in Maximo. Which system creates a job first, or can both? That decides how I store the ID cross-reference.

Let's build the orchestration layer so a job status change in AroFlo lands in Maximo within seconds, and back again, with nothing dropped along the way. I have excellent experience building token-authenticated integration layers between REST APIs, with field mapping, retry logic, and structured error logging so every failed call is traceable. I'd build the sync service in Python or Node, map Job ID, description, and status one-to-one between both systems, wrap each call with meaningful HTTP response handling, and hand off a Postman collection plus README covering endpoints, headers, and environment setup for quick testing. Plesae ping to discuss the requirement timeframe and the budget also. Thanks!!!

Hi, Mateo here, from Toronto. I'm a full stack developer with 8+ years of experience working with REST APIs, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, authentication and database-backed integrations. I understand the challenge here is not simply connecting two APIs. The key is building a reliable orchestration layer between Aroflo and IBM Maximo that keeps job data synchronized in both directions, handles failures safely, and makes every transaction traceable. My approach: first, review both API interfaces, authentication methods and job/status data structures. Next, build the integration layer with secure token handling, one-to-one field mapping, validation, retries and meaningful HTTP responses. Finally, implement transaction/error logging, test bidirectional updates end-to-end, and provide the Git repository, README and Postman collection. I’ll make sure a job change in either system can be processed within seconds while preventing duplicate or lost updates and making failures easy to diagnose. A few questions: Q1 - Do both Aroflo and Maximo provide webhooks/events, or should the integration use polling for real-time updates? Q2 - Are the Job ID, description and status fields mapped identically, or are transformations required? Q3 - Do you already have test credentials/sandbox environments for both APIs? I’m available to start immediately and can work within your existing architecture.

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer experienced in building orchestration layers connecting legacy systems through REST APIs. I understand your need—a reliable bridge between Aroflo and IBM Maximo handling bidirectional job data sync with proper error handling. The core challenge is creating a stateless service translating between different API schemas while maintaining data integrity. You need token management, maintainable field mapping, retry logic without duplicates, and clear logging. I've handled similar integrations where multiple systems stay synchronized despite network failures. The key is building the right abstraction layer for painless scaling. My approach: 1. Requirements review to confirm field mappings and authentication methods 2. Design a Python or Node.js service handling authentication, request/response mapping, retry logic with exponential backoff, and transaction logging 3. Add a dashboard visualizing sync success/failure rates 4. Build a Postman collection and comprehensive README for testing The critical technical consideration is idempotency—preventing duplicate job updates on retries. I'd store transaction IDs and check them before processing, preventing data corruption if a request succeeds but the response is lost. Another realistic risk is API rate limiting. I'd implement request queuing and backpressure handling so the integration degrades gracefully rather than failing hard. I'm ready to start immediately. Let's discuss the details. Th
