Python cTrader Forex Algo Bot

I’m ready to commission a fully-automated Forex trading bot for cTrader, coded only in Python and leveraging the cTrader Open API plus its built-in back-testing environment. All buy-and-sell logic will be supplied by me; what I need from you is clean, modular code that mirrors those rules exactly and writes a plain-English comment to the program log for every single order, stamped with cTrader’s date-time so I can trace and refine each decision later. Key functional needs • Instrument scope: Forex pairs initially. • Core logic: A bespoke, trend-following approach that doesn’t fit the usual scalping/swing/day-trading labels. • Parameter control: Every technical variable (thresholds, lot size, MA lengths, risk settings, etc.) must live in an instantly editable dialogue box. When I change a value, the running strategy must pick it up on the next tick without a restart. • Transparency: Maintain a detailed execution log plus inline code comments so another developer could audit the strategy flow end-to-end. • Back-testing: The same script should run unmodified in cTrader’s back-tester, producing identical logs for historical data analysis. Collaboration & compliance I require a signed, legally binding confidentiality agreement before any materials are shared. We’ll review milestones and screen-share code through Zoom or Google Meet, so please factor live sessions into your estimate. I prefer an hourly quote backed by a granular time log (task, start/stop, brief note). Acceptance criteria 1. Python source compiles and runs in cTrader with no external tweaks. 2. Real-time parameter dialogue functions as specified. 3. Trade log entries match the supplied format on both live and back-test runs. 4. Final code passes a walk-through session where we step through at least one full trading day of historical data.
