Here’s the workflow I have in mind: a caller at the public phone initiates a video or voice call, the recipient answers on an app installed on their own phone, and the call time is deducted from the caller’s prepaid balance. To make this work, I require three tightly-integrated components. • Dual-platform calling apps – One app pre-installed on the public phones for callers – A companion app for recipients on both iOS and Android – Core features: high-quality video and voice calling, automatic time/balance tracking, and clear prompts when credit runs low • Credit reload & balance app – Users must be able to top up and monitor their remaining minutes directly inside the app; no web portal or physical kiosk is planned at this stage • Central management system – Allows me to register, configure, and remotely monitor each public phone – Real-time call logs, credit usage reports, tariff editing, and over-the-air updates are essential Everything should share a single backend so balances stay synchronized.
