I need a developer who is equally comfortable in PHP or Node.js to build a production-ready webhook that captures Facebook Lead Ads events in real time and pushes the raw JSON payload to my server for further processing. Scope • Focus is strictly on webhook integration. • Facebook is the only platform involved; when a new lead is created in a specified Lead Ad form, your code must receive the event, verify the signature, and hand the data off to a simple callback I will expose. • The trigger is lead generation only—no page updates, Messenger, or other event types. Technical notes The Facebook Marketing API, Graph API v18.0 (or latest stable) and the Webhooks API must be used according to Meta documentation. If you choose PHP, I am running 8.1 with Composer; if you prefer Node.js, target v18 LTS and npm. Whichever stack you pick, include concise setup instructions in a README. Deliverables 1. Source code for the webhook endpoint with secure token verification. 2. A brief install guide (.md) showing required environment variables, Facebook App settings, and testing steps with cURL or Postman. 3. Proof of concept: video or screenshots of a test lead successfully hitting the endpoint and logging the payload. Acceptance criteria The endpoint must return a 200 OK to Facebook within the required timeframe, log the full payload, and expose a function I can extend for downstream processing. All credentials should be read from env variables; no hard-coded secrets.
