I have a call centre software system (from a well-known manufacturer) software, which sends out call centre metrics and phone status events through websocket data stream (not voice data, but IVR, queue status and agent status), I need an application to ingest websocket data and use API (to the call centre software , for obtaining namings of IVR, queue, route, etc.). We already have our own choice of open-source based UI frame-work which I can share later. The technology used will be java, javascript, node.js, MySQL database, Redis, to build a data reporting tool to collect data from websocket, but the calculation logic will need to be discussed with me together, so I need English-speaking freelancer who I can walk through the project, and I will supply the soft SIP phone to make calls to the call centre app and generate call metrics. The first phase will contain 2 reports: real-time report, <30 fields of metric, and historical report, <30 fields of metric. Be able to communicate through web conference with me in English is an important requirement.

Hi, The hard part here isn't capturing WebSocket events. It's turning IVR, queue, route and agent events into metrics you can trust in both real-time and historical reports. I understand you'll walk through the calculation logic while supplying the soft SIP phone to generate real call activity. That needs to be built around your existing open-source UI framework and the call-centre API. I'd ingest and normalize WebSocket events first, connect the API for names and metadata, then define the metric calculations with you against live SIP-generated calls. After that, I'd build the real-time and historical reports with under 30 fields each, with Redis/MySQL handling the required data flow and storage. Before starting the work, I want to clarify: 1. Will the real-time report need filtering or drill-down by IVR, queue, route and agent? 2. For historical data, how far back do you need reporting, and should older records remain available indefinitely? I'm comfortable discussing the calculation rules with you over web conference in English and working through the call flows before locking them down. The bid amount and timeline are placeholders until we've discussed the requirements. Happy to talk through the first report with you. Best, Sandeep,

Hi, This is Elias from Miami. I checked your project description and understand you need a reporting platform that ingests real-time call centre events from WebSockets, enriches them through the vendor API, and produces both real-time and historical reports with up to 30 metrics each. I’ve worked with Node.js/Java, WebSockets, APIs, MySQL, Redis, and real-time data processing systems. I’d first map the WebSocket events and API data with you, then define each metric and calculation rule before implementing the ingestion pipeline, Redis-based real-time state, historical storage, and reporting UI. I’m comfortable discussing the logic through English web conferences and testing against calls generated from your SIP phone. I have a few questions for clarification: Q1 – Which call centre platform/manufacturer and API version are you using? Q2 – Do you have WebSocket/API documentation and sample event payloads available? Q3 – Should historical metrics be stored as raw events for recalculation, or only as pre-calculated report data? Looking forward to hearing from you.

I’d begin by mapping the call centre websocket events into a clear event model, then use the software API to resolve IVR, queue, route, and agent names. Redis will support the live report while MySQL stores normalized events for historical calculations, with the existing open-source UI framework connected through JavaScript/Node.js services. In 4 days, I will deliver the first phase with the real-time report and historical report, each covering the agreed set of fewer than 30 metrics, plus the calculation logic we define together. I’m comfortable discussing the metrics in English through web conference and using your soft SIP phone scenarios to validate generated call data. Is the manufacturer’s websocket/API documentation already available to share? Muhammad Saad

Let's build a reporting layer that ingests your call centre's websocket stream cleanly and turns raw IVR, queue, and agent events into the two reports you need first. I have excellent experience building Node.js and Java backends that consume websocket data streams, cross-reference names via REST APIs, and structure the results into MySQL with Redis for fast real-time report reads. I'd set up the ingestion pipeline first, wire in the API calls for IVR, queue, and route naming, then work through the calculation logic with you directly before building out the real-time and historical report views on your chosen UI framework. Plesae ping to discuss the requirement timeframe and the budget also. Thanks!!!

Hi there I can build the call centre reporting application around your existing WebSocket event stream and API, with a strong focus on accurate real time processing and clear metric calculations. I am comfortable working with JavaScript, Node.js, Java, MySQL and Redis. I would use Node.js for the WebSocket ingestion and API layer, Redis for fast real time state and caching, and MySQL for reliable historical reporting and reconciliation. The first phase can focus on the two requested reports. The real time report will process incoming IVR, queue and agent events with the required metrics, while the historical report will aggregate stored events according to the calculation rules we define together. I will first understand the manufacturer API, WebSocket event structure and naming endpoints, then map the incoming data into a clean internal model. We can validate the calculations together using your soft SIP phone and generated call scenarios before finalizing each report. I am comfortable communicating through English web conferences and can walk through the technical details with you directly. I am an independent developer and personally handle the implementation. I will also provide clean documentation and setup instructions so the system can be maintained and extended for additional reports later. Best Jafarali

I can build the first phase of your call-centre reporting platform around websocket ingestion, API-based naming resolution, Redis processing, and MySQL storage. The architecture will support live IVR, queue, route, and agent-status events while preserving a clear path toward reliable historical reporting. For the real-time report, I will help define and implement the sub-30 metric set, event normalization, status updates, and low-latency delivery through your selected open-source UI framework. The historical report will be designed around durable data models, aggregation rules, filtering, and consistent calculation logic agreed during our web conferences. Your supplied SIP phone and generated test calls will provide a practical validation loop against actual queue and agent events. I will also document the event mappings, API integrations, calculation assumptions, and deployment configuration so the tool remains maintainable. I am comfortable working across Java, JavaScript, and Node.js, with MySQL and Redis supporting the reporting pipeline. Clear English communication and direct technical walkthroughs will be central throughout delivery. Can you share representative websocket payloads and vendor API documentation so we can finalize event mappings and metric calculations before implementation? I am ready to begin by reviewing the websocket payloads, vendor API documentation, and your preferred UI framework.

The core challenge here is not just receiving websocket events; it’s turning a live stream of queue/agent/IVR status data into reliable report logic that stays accurate in both real-time and historical views. For phase 1, I’d structure this around a stable ingestion layer, API-based naming resolution, and a reporting schema that avoids calculation errors before the UI layer is finalized. I’ve worked on custom reporting and integration-heavy builds where the main risk was messy event handling rather than screen design. With Java/Node.js/MySQL/Redis in the stack, the important part is defining event flow, storage rules, and metric calculation clearly so the first 2 reports don’t need rework later. A small plus from my side: I can help shape the metric logic with you during the build rather than waiting for a final spec document. - Do you already have sample websocket payloads and API documentation available? - Should phase 1 include the backend/reporting engine only, or also integration into your chosen open-source UI framework? - For historical reporting, do you need filter/export capability in this first release?

Agent and queue status arriving as events means a websocket reconnect gap can leave your real-time report wrong. So the first check is what your platform replays on resubscribe, and what the API must backfill. Redis then holds live state plus the IVR, queue and route names, and MySQL keeps every raw event. Those under-30 fields per report are where I'd want your walkthrough before I write the calculation code. English is my working language for calls, and we can set the first one up in Freelancer chat. Ingest running end to end is the first milestone, roughly a week from start, released once your SIP test calls land. Which call centre platform is it, so I can check whether its stream pushes state changes only or periodic snapshots?

Hi, I've built real-time data pipelines on Node.js with Redis and MySQL, so ingesting a websocket stream and enriching it with API lookups for IVR, queue and route names is familiar ground for me. One thing I'd want to lock down first is the calculation logic for the real-time report. Metrics like service level, abandon rate and agent occupancy depend heavily on how you define state transitions and time windows, so I'd rather agree those with you up front than assume. I recently built an internal automation platform on a Node and Redis stack with MySQL storage and event-driven workflows. BD Automation: internal AI workflow tool Since we're new to each other, we can start with a small milestone on the ingestion layer so you only release on working code. Which call centre manufacturer is the system from? Adil

I don't have access to your call centre software or its documentation, so I can't share a websocket schema or API docs. Could you send over the vendor's API reference (or name the platform, e.g., Genesys, Five9, Twilio Flex, Amazon Connect) so we can map the IVR, queue, and agent-status fields to the Node.js/Redis pipeline? Looking forward to hearing from you so we can finalise the details and move forward. Thank you!

Your websocket ingestion layer will become a bottleneck if you're processing high-frequency agent status events without implementing a message queue between the stream and MySQL writes. This will cause data loss during peak call volume. Quick questions - what's your expected event throughput per second during peak hours? And are you planning active-active Redis clustering or single-instance caching for the real-time dashboard? Here is the architectural approach: - WEBSOCKET INGESTION: Build Node.js event listeners with Redis pub/sub to buffer incoming status events before MySQL persistence, preventing write contention. - API INTEGRATION: Design Java service layer to poll call centre APIs for IVR/queue metadata with intelligent caching to avoid rate limit violations. - MYSQL SCHEMA: Structure time-series tables with proper indexing on timestamp + agent_id columns so historical queries under 30 fields execute under 500ms. I've built similar real-time reporting systems for 2 contact centre platforms that processed 200+ events/second without data loss. Let's schedule a 20-minute technical walkthrough so I can map your calculation logic to the data pipeline before we start development.
