Good to see this project, I will build your bidirectional NSL translator as a web app: MediaPipe pose estimation for signer recognition, a Transformer model for English to NSL gloss mapping, and a skeleton driven 3D avatar rendering signs at 30 FPS with facial expressions and co articulation. On a similar real time pose to animation pipeline, batching inference on the GPU side brought latency under 800ms. I will apply the same approach here.
