We're looking for an Android app which will act as a digital signage app. Primarily to be used in elevators, bathroom stalls, etc... for advertising purposes.
It will basically be a browser-based app which pulls content on a regular interval from a web-server but must be able to also run stand-alone (cached) in case the device loses internet connection.
The playback must be able to accept .WMV, .MOV, .SWF, .JPG, .PNG, .GIF files as well as standard HTML and Java.
The app will need to run in a 'KIOSK-LIKE' environment and not accept input from buttons or touch-screen.
The application should be capable of scheduling content and also flashing content in between based on a push of the button
