It will be defaulted to “Write” The writer app should be able to detect a card written using the writer app, and overwrite the file data Write procedure to a blank card is as follows: Card encryption is set to AES Card key, App key and file key are changed The given data is written onto the specified file The writer app should be able to format a card which was written with the writer app. This feature will be used to reuse the physical cards. All keys are set to default blank card keys Encryption is set back to DES Content of the specific file on the card is cleared Card is read using the new keys to verify format is successful The app detects card type and prompts “Error card type [card type name] is not supported”, if not DesFire EV1 or EV2 Part 2) Implementing an Android app to read data written onto card in part 1 The reader and writer apps should be able to detect a blank card The app detects card type and prompts “Error card type [card type name] is not supported”, if not DesFire EV1 or EV2 Part 3) Implementing an Android app to emulate behaviour of a physical DesFire EV1 card. The app will provide behavior of the specified card in response to APDU commands received from a card reader. The app will behave like a blank DesFire card on the first run. The app will have an option to reset itself (and becomes a blank card).
