I have a simple app that downloads videos to Android phone storage onto DOWNLOADS folder. When videos are downloaded by the app, a subfolder is created, we call it MY-APP-SUBFOLDER. When no videos are downloaded, NEW APP subfolder is not created. When NEW APP subfolder is emptied, it's automatically deleted. This must be due to an [IF statement] or so. What I want is a permanent NEW APP subfolder whether it has files or not.

Using the Download Manager I will change destination to the already established Downloads folder and add permission to grant empty Folder
