I’m running my POS application in Basic4Android (B4A) on a Dspread D60 terminal. The device’s built-in printer is only accessible through the Java-based QPOS-Android Printer SDK (full guide here: [login to view URL]). To keep the rest of my code in B4A I need a wrapper that exposes the essential SDK calls in a way that feels native to B4A. Scope of work • Package the existing Java SDK into a JAR/AAR that can be referenced by B4A. • Write the wrapper class in Java, annotate it for B4A compatibility, and compile it with the requisite manifest entries and permissions. • Surface straightforward methods such as InitPrinter, PrintText(String txt), PrintImage(Bitmap bmp), CutPaper, GetStatus, etc. • Ensure both text and image printing work reliably on the D60 (plain ASCII receipts plus small logos in common Android Bitmap formats). • Provide a small demo project written entirely in B4A showing a successful print of a sample receipt followed by a logo image. Acceptance criteria The demo compiles in the current B4A IDE without modifications, installs on a standard D60 device, and prints both the supplied text and image via the hardware printer with no runtime errors. Please keep the Java sources, the compiled library, and brief integration notes in the hand-over so I can maintain the wrapper long term. In order to get paid I need you to login into my pc connect using b4a and click on the print button must be able to print

Hi there, I can build the B4A wrapper for the Dspread D60 printer SDK and keep your POS app code clean on the B4A side. You need a native feeling bridge for the Java only printer SDK, with reliable text, image, and status printing on the D60. I will package the SDK, write a B4A compatible Java wrapper, and provide a working B4A demo that prints a receipt and logo with minimal integration work. I will expose the core printer calls through a small, stable API and add the required manifest entries and permissions for the terminal. I will also validate the bitmap handling and printing flow so the wrapper supports common Android bitmap formats and produces consistent output on device. I can communicate in real time in your time zone and provide a simple demo or part of the project within 12 hours of starting. Q1: Do you already have the exact QPOS Printer SDK version you want used? Q2: Should the wrapper include only the essential print methods, or also status and error callbacks? Q3: Will you share a D60 device or remote access for live testing during integration? Best regards, Everett

Hi there, Your B4A POS app on the Dspread D60 needs a clean Java wrapper around the QPOS-Android Printer SDK so the built-in printer works from native-feeling B4A calls, not scattered Java workarounds. I’ve spent the last 4 years solving exactly this type of Android SDK-to-B4A integration problem. I’ll package the Dspread Java SDK into a usable JAR/AAR, create B4A-compatible annotated Java wrapper classes, include the required manifest entries/permissions, and expose methods like InitPrinter, PrintText, PrintImage, CutPaper, and GetStatus. I’ll also verify ASCII receipt printing and Bitmap logo output, then provide a complete B4A demo project, compiled library, Java sources, and concise integration notes so you can maintain it long term. I’m comfortable connecting to your PC for the final acceptance test in B4A and clicking the demo print button to confirm the D60 prints text and image without runtime errors. Best regards,

B4A wrappers work by taking the Dspread Java SDK and compiling the key methods into a B4A-compatible library file, so your POS code can call the printer directly without dropping into Java. I would wrap the print and status methods first, test on the D60 firmware, and hand you a clean .jar with sample B4A code. Done in 3 days. Can start today. The bid reflects what is in the description. Final scope and pricing depend on which SDK version Dspread shipped with your unit. Want to jump on a quick call?

Review the official QPOS Printer SDK documentation and identify the required printer APIs for initialization, text printing, bitmap/logo printing, paper cutting, and printer status handling. Create a Java Android Library (.AAR/.JAR) compatible with B4A. The wrapper will expose simplified B4A-friendly methods such as: InitPrinter PrintText(String txt) PrintImage(Bitmap bmp) CutPaper GetStatus Add the required Android permissions, manifest configuration, and device-specific initialization needed for the Dspread D60 internal printer. Implement bitmap conversion and scaling logic to ensure logos and receipt images print correctly using Android Bitmap objects supported by B4A. Build and test the wrapper directly on the D60 terminal to confirm stable printing of: ASCII receipts Multi-line formatted text Small logo images Deliver a complete B4A demo project that references the compiled library and demonstrates successful printer initialization and receipt printing through a simple “Print” button.

Hi, I can build a B4A-friendly Java wrapper for the Dspread D60 QPOS printer SDK and verify it directly in your B4A setup. I will use Java, Android SDK, B4A library annotations, JAR/AAR packaging, and the QPOS Printer SDK because they fit native B4A integration and device-level printing. I’ll expose clean methods like InitPrinter, PrintText, PrintImage, CutPaper, and GetStatus with simple B4A-style calls. I’ll handle manifest permissions, SDK initialization, bitmap conversion/scaling, printer status checks, and error-safe callbacks to avoid runtime crashes. The demo B4A project will print a sample receipt plus a logo image and be structured so you can maintain or extend the wrapper later. I have previously wrapped Android hardware SDKs for B4A/Java apps, including device peripherals, image handling, and native library integration. I’m confident I can deliver the Java sources, compiled library, demo project, and short integration notes as requested. I can also connect to your PC, run the project in B4A, click print, and confirm the D60 prints successfully. regards Cedric

I've wrapped Java-based hardware SDKs into B4A-compatible JAR libraries for Android POS terminals, which is exactly what your Dspread D60 printer integration requires. For a recent client project, I packaged a thermal printer SDK into a B4A wrapper exposing InitPrinter, PrintText, PrintImage, and GetStatus methods, reducing their integration time by over 60% and eliminating all runtime errors on device. I will package the QPOS-Android Printer SDK into a JAR/AAR, write the annotated Java wrapper class with correct manifest entries and permissions, and deliver a working B4A demo that prints a receipt and logo on the D60 with no modifications needed. You will receive full Java source, the compiled library, and clear integration notes so you can maintain it independently. I work with B4A annotation conventions, DependsOn declarations, and Android SDK constraints daily, so your acceptance criteria are fully achievable within your timeline.
