About the Role
We are seeking a Backend Developer with a passion for building robust and efficient systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, specifically Django, and a good understanding of databases, AWS services, and API development. Though a primary focus on backend development is expected, an interest or experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence will be a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Develop APIs and oversee their robustness and stability.
Manage AWS services, especially S3 and EC2.
Administer and optimize databases to guarantee their efficiency and security.
Collaborate with the team to integrate various services.
Be part of an agile development team, working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Extensive experience in API development.
Strong understanding of databases and their integration with various services.
Expertise in the Django framework.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge or interest in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence.
Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), OpenAI, and GPTs.
Ability to work in the US PST time zone.
