The existing PCB is functionally sound, but several components need to be swapped for newer equivalents and a handful of additional SMD parts must be integrated without altering the overall board footprint. The layout will stay largely intact; the job is focused on component-level edits rather than a full redesign. Key work: • Replace specified components with the updated parts listed in my BOM draft. • Add two new SMD devices (a low-profile DC-DC converter and a temperature sensor) into the current schematic and layout, observing clearance and impedance rules already in place. • Update the BOM, pick-and-place, and assembly drawings so everything aligns with these changes. Deliverables: • Revised schematic and PCB layout files (Altium Designer preferred, KiCad acceptable). • Updated BOM with manufacturer part numbers and alternates. • Regenerated Gerbers, drill files, and pick-and-place data ready for my assembler. • A short change log outlining every component replaced or added. Acceptance criteria: Gerbers must pass the same design-rule set currently used; new components should fit within the existing board outline and keep all connectors in their present locations. Feel free to suggest footprint optimisations if they ease routing, but the core requirement remains SMD component replacement and addition.

Hello, I can modify your existing PCB while keeping the current board footprint and connector locations unchanged. I have experience with KiCad schematic/PCB design, component replacement, footprint selection, routing, DRC, and manufacturing file preparation. For this project, I will: - Review the existing schematic, PCB and BOM. - Replace the specified components with the updated parts from your BOM. - Verify pinout, footprint, package, ratings and mechanical dimensions before replacement. - Add the low-profile DC-DC converter and temperature sensor to the schematic and PCB. - Keep the existing board outline and connector positions unchanged. - Modify routing only where required while maintaining the existing clearance and impedance rules. - Check component placement and mechanical clearances. - Update the BOM with manufacturer part numbers and suitable alternates. - Regenerate Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place data and assembly drawings. - Run the existing DRC rules and fix any errors. - Provide a clear change log covering every replaced and added component. I can work in KiCad, which you have listed as an acceptable alternative to Altium. I will keep the design organized and manufacturing-ready, while making only the necessary changes to the existing layout. I’m ready to start once you provide the current schematic, PCB and BOM files. Thank you.

Длина — около 1000 символов (с запасом проходим в лимит). Hi there, I can handle this PCB revision for you. Adding a DC-DC converter to a working board without causing EMI issues is the main challenge here. I know how to keep the switching node tight, route the feedback trace away from noisy paths, and manage the GND plane so your existing circuitry stays stable. I will strictly follow your constraints: the board footprint and connectors will remain untouched. You will get exactly what you asked for: updated native files, Gerbers passing your current DRC, Pick-and-Place, an updated BOM with alternates, and a clear change log. I am new to this platform and currently have no reviews. To compensate for this, I am offering a competitive rate and maximum attention to detail to earn my first 5-star rating. I’ve attached screenshots of my recent 4-layer boards so you can verify my actual routing skills. If you want to test my approach without risk, send me the source files. I’ll do a quick preliminary DC-DC placement for free before you decide to start a contract. Which specific software (and version) is the original layout in?

Hi, I can help you make these changes to the existing PCB without changing the overall board footprint or connector locations. I have experience with PCB design, schematic editing, component selection, footprints, BOMs and hardware debugging. Since the existing design is already working, I would focus on making the requested changes carefully without disturbing the parts of the design that are already proven. I can handle: * Replacing the specified components with the new BOM parts * Adding the new DC-DC converter and temperature sensor * Updating schematic and PCB layout * Checking footprints, clearances and routing * Keeping the existing board outline and connector positions unchanged * Updating BOM and manufacturer part numbers * Regenerating Gerbers, drill and Pick & Place files * Updating assembly documentation * Providing a clear change log of everything modified * Running the appropriate design-rule checks before delivery I would first review the existing source files, current BOM and the replacement parts to make sure the footprints and electrical requirements match before making the PCB changes. If there are routing or footprint issues caused by the new components, I can suggest a practical solution while keeping the original board constraints. Please send the current PCB/schematic files and the BOM draft so I can check the exact scope before starting.

Hi there, I read your project details and understand that your existing PCB layout is functionally sound, but requires specific SMD component updates and additions without modifying the board footprint or connector placements. Here is how I will approach your project: Component Swaps & Additions: Update the schematic/layout according to your draft BOM and seamlessly integrate the low-profile DC-DC converter and temperature sensor while adhering strictly to existing clearance and impedance rules. Design Integrity: Maintain the exact board outline, mounting holes, and connector positions to ensure 100% mechanical compatibility. Deliverables & Manufacturing Outputs: Provide fully updated schematic/layout files (Altium / KiCad), updated BOM with manufacturer part numbers & alternates, regenerated Gerbers, drill files, Pick-and-Place data, and a clear Change Log. DRC Validation: Run comprehensive Design Rule Checks to guarantee the updated Gerbers pass your existing design-rule set seamlessly. Quick Question: Could you share which EDA tool (Altium Designer or KiCad) the original design files were created in?
