I run everything from Airtable and now want the base to update itself instead of me chasing spreadsheets and calendars. The goal is simple: • Any time a new event is added or modified in Google Calendar, an Airtable record should be created or updated automatically. • When I edit key fields in Airtable, the corresponding Google Calendar event must reflect those changes. • All of this should flow through [login to view URL] scenarios so I can see a clear audit trail and tweak steps later. I already have tables and fields in place; what’s missing is the automation logic, robust error-handling, and a quick way to roll the whole setup out to similar bases in the future. Please tell me about projects where you have built Airtable-first automations—especially those that involved [login to view URL] (Integromat) and Google Calendar. A short note on the challenges you solved and the result is enough; no need for a full proposal yet. Deliverable: a tested [login to view URL] blueprint (or Airtable script if that proves cleaner) that I can import, together with a brief loom or PDF walkthrough so I understand how to maintain it.

Hi, I can help you You want your Airtable to keep in sync with Google Calendar without you touching it. New or changed events should create or update rows, and edits in Airtable should update the event. You also want it built in Make so you can see every step, handle errors cleanly, and reuse it in other bases. I’ll deliver a tested blueprint you can import plus a short Loom so you can run and maintain it. This will take a few days, I've been doing this type of work for years. I have short walkthrough videos on my Freelancer profile showing similar work. 1) What tables and fields exist now for events, and which fields must stay in sync both ways? 2) What should happen on conflicts or failures, and what does success look like on your end? Ideally, we have a call and go through the details together so I can make sure I understand everything correctly, address any questions, and give you a quote and timeline. Would that work? Best, Nicolas

Hello!, I am a US-based senior software engineer with over 15 years of experience in automation, databases, and API integrations. I carefully read your project description regarding Airtable automation and understand your need for a self-updating base to minimize manual tracking. To ensure I deliver the perfect solution, could you please clarify the following questions to help me better understand the project? 1. Are there specific triggers or conditions you want to establish for the updates? 2. What data sources or third-party integrations do you currently have in place that need to sync with Airtable? With my extensive background in scripting and database management, I have successfully completed similar projects, including custom automation for e-commerce platforms and data synchronization tools. My approach involves defining clear milestones and ensuring seamless integration, which I believe will fulfill your requirements effectively. I’m confident that my combination of technical skills and attention to detail makes me the right fit for this project. Let's connect to discuss how I can help streamline your Airtable process and enhance your workflow. Looking forward to your response! Best, James Zappi

Hi, I’ve built Airtable first automations where Airtable stays as the operating base and Make handles the sync, logging, and recovery logic in the middle. Which fields should be treated as the source of truth when both Airtable and Google Calendar change around the same time? A similar setup I worked on synced bookings, calendar events, customer records, and status changes between Airtable, Google Calendar, and a CRM. The main challenge was avoiding duplicate events and update loops, so I used stored Calendar event IDs, timestamp checks, scenario filters, and clear error routes in Make. For your case, I’d build importable Make blueprints for create, update, and sync checks, then add a simple maintenance guide or Loom so you can reuse the pattern across other bases. Kind regards, Abel
