# Dell PowerEdge Windows Server 2019 Performance Optimization & Active Directory Health Review ## Project Overview We are seeking an experienced **Microsoft Windows Server Administrator** with strong expertise in **Windows Server 2019**, **Active Directory**, and **Dell PowerEdge servers** to perform a comprehensive health check and performance optimization of our existing on-premises server environment. Our server is fully operational and stable. This is **not** a migration, installation, or troubleshooting project. We are looking for an expert who can review our current configuration, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize the server for maximum performance, reliability, and security. ## Environment * Dell PowerEdge Server * Windows Server 2019 Standard * On-premises infrastructure * Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) * DNS * DHCP * Group Policy * File Sharing * Multiple Windows client computers ## Scope of Work The selected freelancer will: * Review the overall Windows Server configuration. * Perform a complete Active Directory health assessment. * Analyze server performance and resource utilization. * Identify configuration issues, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks. * Optimize Windows Server settings for improved speed and responsiveness. * Review and optimize: * Active Directory * DNS * DHCP * Group Policy * Event Logs * Services * Startup configuration * Security settings * Verify replication, authentication, and AD health (where applicable). * Review Windows updates and system best practices. * Recommend and implement safe performance improvements. * Provide documentation of findings, recommendations, and completed optimizations. * Answer questions and share best practices for ongoing maintenance. ## Deliverables * Server Health Assessment Report * Active Directory Health Report * Performance Optimization Recommendations * Configuration Improvements (implemented where approved) * Best Practices Document * Summary of changes made ## Requirements * Proven experience with Windows Server 2019 administration. * Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration and troubleshooting. * Experience with Dell PowerEdge servers. * Experience optimizing DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. * Familiarity with Windows performance monitoring and tuning. * Ability to work remotely via secure remote access. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. ## Important Notes * This is **not** a new server installation. * This is **not** a migration project. * This is **not** an emergency support request. * Our server is functioning well; we are looking for an experienced professional to perform a comprehensive review and optimize performance based on industry best practices. ## When Applying Please include: * A brief overview of your Windows Server experience. * Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Dell, etc.), if any. * Similar projects you have completed. * Your proposed approach for reviewing and optimizing our server. * Estimated time required to complete the project.
