I am a Greek (freelancing) software developer interested in forming a company to be able to legally invoice my clients. Crazy taxes in Greece prohibit myself from running a company in my own country (according to my budget) therefore I'm looking for another solution.
Product: Websites development, CRM, Support
Average annual income: 10k-20k euros
Company type: From my research I think I should either register for a sole proprietorship (sole trader) or an ltd company.
My Citizenship: Greek citizenship
Some more info:
Let me tell you that I need to pay less than 100 euros per month to run it. (wether that is accountant costs, virtual office rents or anything) and I WILL be working from home.
I'm looking for the BEST value for money scenario to choose for me. I might or might not need an accountant along the way (it depends on wether I can do the accounts for myself or not perhaps through some online service). I do NOT plan to move from Greece, so I must also avoid double taxation.
I researched all costs on UK, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Ireland. In Bulgaria the tax is good but they ask for 700 euros to form a ltd company which I find crazy. In Cyprus the costs to maintain an office are high so until I find another way its out of the question. In Ireland it was all good but still a bit expensive for me. In UK I looked into registering as a sole trader. The downside is I must register for a NI and thus provide them with a permanent address, which I wont be needing for REAL!
