I'm retired and employed as a International Air Courier for a cargo/freight forwarder company on demand. I'm trying to get a home loan modification. According to my mortgage bank the income I've earned as a courier is considered to be self employment. I receive a 1099 at the end of each year. My mortgage bank is asking me to provide simple profit & loss statements (last three months and year-to-date) that have been prepared and signed by a CPA. They don't need to be audited or reviewed. I've earned on average about $1K each month in income. My total monthly related expenses have brought my average monthy income down to less than $300 a month.
I'm lookng to provide copies of my pay checks along with a list of job related expenses and have the P/L statements compiled.
You'll be working directly with my son, Bill, since I'm not always available.
