Role and Responsibilities Financial accounting • Perform and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly FS reporting. • Prepare FS using IFRS reporting standards. • Assist CFO in preparing for presentation of FS to board by highlighting key financial indicators. • Prepare working papers and any additional information for the interim and annual audit. • Ensure accuracy in G/L accounts through performing internal auditing procedures over all financial statement accounts. • Oversee and monitor weekly cash balances. • Provide information required for accurate cash forecasting. • Work with CFO on constant improvement of monthly reporting outcome. • Monitor all Governance Risk Management and Compliance with regards to financial activities. Provide guidance and assistance on any accounting matter. Management accounting • Assist in developing and managing key performance indicators and evaluate key performance indicators. • Examine and reconcile monthly invoices to payroll register, Time and Expense (T&E) reports and GL and AP variance. • Monitor monthly invoicing of the expense transactions by cost centre for consolidation of expenses. Examine GL details; verify mapping details of products and accounts to cost centres and accounts. • Examine and analyze quarterly true up of allocation costs. Skills & Qualifications • A minimum of three years post accounting designation experience, IFRS experience required. • Understanding the businesses current needs and future aspirations. • Actively gathers knowledge, learns from experience, and learns from others. • Proactive approach to problem solving. • Chooses or recommends from a range of possible options or possibilities. • Proven communication and relationship building skills with the ability to present financial and non-financial information in a clear and effective manner. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Monitors and evaluates projects and takes action to deliver the highest possible service. • Recognized accounting designation. • Proven ability to motivate diverse teams preferably across differing time zones. • Excellent Excel skills. • English. • Role requires someone who is flexible and comfortable working both on their own initiative and as part of a team. • Self motivated.
