Individually, you need to each submit a five page research paper (single spaced) which, in two pages, briefly explains the problem from the point of view of your field, and in three pages explores the possible solution. Remember, sustainable development is a marriage of three sometimes conflicting elements, the environmental, the economic, and the social. A well-written paper will have to explore each of these aspects, which involves both science (what’s wrong, how can we fix it, what sort of processes are involved, etc) and policy (what needs to be done, what levels of government or international treaties may apply, what are the economic and social consequences, etc), but will not have to do so evenly, since green problem-solving is a transdisciplinary pursuit and students will have varying expertise in different disciplines.
Works cited needs to be attached, and, again, no Wiki. Do not reproduce the first part, even if your solution is selected–prior research should inform not constitute this second part. Remember, these are individual papers.
You have been tasked with giving recommendations to a local city council about ways to conserve energy. What sort of innovative and sustainable solutions could a cash-strapped city adopt to minimize energy use? If solar energy is still incapable of supplying industrial and residential needs at an efficient price, what other options are there for providing sustainable energy?
in your paper you can forget the specifics of the prompt and explore the problem from the greater context of your group theme (conserving energy). if you want to talk about recycling then frame it in the context of energy savings or tradeoffs with energy used to recycle vs make new plastics. in the presentation you could think about ways that a cash-strapped city could get technology transfers or grant money or you can focus on something more broad connected to your group theme.
I want the paper to be around the tradeoffs with energy used to recycle vs make new plastics. I want the sources to be academic journals.

I am currently a member of Greenpeace. and am willing to voice against the issues you have described. As well as putting the time and effort to do the research and complete the task quickly and efficiently.
