CM4 is looking for a part-time programmer to skin an upcoming release of their eCommerce platform, AspDotNetStoreFront v10 ([url removed, login to view]). The front-end of this platform implements Bootstrap, so knowledge of skinning with this design framework is a critical skill for the job. A dev environment is already standing and available to start skinning immediately.
You will be working directly with the company owner, who is also former programmer/sysadmin of 10 years but does not have the time to implement the project personally.
CM4 designs, manufactures, and markets mobile accessories such as our sleek iPhone wallet cases. We have an office in downtown Austin with a few employees and other employees spread out through the world.
Ideal candidate will need a solid understanding of AspDotNetStoreFront, responsive web design, Bootstrap, and JS/HTML/CSS. You should be able to quickly read skinning documentation for our eComm platform and learn the specifics yourself. You should have a portfolio showing sites you’ve previously implemented. You don’t have to be a graphic designer, but should have an eye for a logical page layout and balance of elements. You should be able to take high-level directions and able to execute the required tasks independently, with little supervision. Local Austin candidates preferred so we can occasionally meet in person in our downtown office to review the project.
