I would like to get Excel DDE connection with Interactive Brokers API working, there is a sample excel file when API Companion software has been downloaded, but I just can't make it work, getting errors. I would like you to help me with making Excel work with DDE and IB API connections, add a few instruments and see the excel spreadsheet retrieving data from IB API.
I'm getting these errors, I don't know how to show information for certain stocks on currency pairs and display bid price etc. I just can't make it work, downloaded API companion, enabled DDE on IB software, enabled macros on Excel but nothing.... This would be the first task.
All information about Interactive Brokers API and Excel DDE is in this link [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]
I have TWS from IB installed, 32 bits version, Excel 2017 with macros enabled, IB API companion and jave installed but I can't make it work. I guess you would have to try on your side with a demo account on IB broker, install everything, make it work and then do it on my computer maybe with TeamViewer control remote software.
