Stamped Structural Deck Drawings

I need a licensed Professional Engineer to prepare and seal structural drawings for a new exterior deck system on the rear of my two-story red-brick building. The project consists of: • A welded steel frame deck at the first-floor level • A matching steel staircase leading up to a smaller second-floor landing deck All drawings must satisfy our city building department’s submittal standards and be ready for sign-off by the municipal engineer / building inspector. Please base the design on steel construction, showing member sizes, weld details, connection plates, anchorage to the existing masonry wall, guardrails, and stair stringers. Include any required load calculations, notes referencing the current IBC and local amendments, and your professional stamp on the final sheets. Please note: The decking material will be either tile or TREX. Specifications from one distributor recommend adding 5% for weight. Deliverables I expect: 1. PDF and CAD files of the sealed structural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and details) 2. Structural calculation package supporting the design loads and member sizing 3.
