Hi Miguel G., Last week I did a very similar rotomolded tank package and I’m confident to handle this really well. My Questions. 1) Which native CAD do you prefer for master files (SolidWorks 2022 or Fusion 360), and any tooling limits from your supplier (max mold size, preferred parting direction)? 2) Will the tank ever see internal pressure or vacuum? Please confirm port sizes/threads and key loads (handle pull, wheel/axle, drop). My Suggestions. 1) Target 5–6.5 mm wall with crowned panels and shallow ribs; strong, lighter, and faster cooling with low warpage. 2) Use through-bolted pads with post‑installed SS nutserts for accessories; more reliable than molded‑in inserts and easier to service. My Execution Plan. - Align on envelope, 75 L working volume, interfaces; set DFM rules (≈2% shrink, 3° external/5° internal draft, radii ≥10 mm where possible). - Build clean 3D in SolidWorks 2022 (or Fusion 360): hollow body, robust integrated handle with gussets, ribs, flat pads; define simple split parting line; avoid undercuts. - Calculate internal volume; run draft/interference checks; quick stress check on handle/axle zones. - Review changes with you and lock geometry. - Produce drawings: all views, sections, critical dims/tolerances, wall, draft, radii, parting line, rotomolding notes; assembly refs for cap, door, wheels, axle, air connector, hose clip, gun holder. - Export native, STEP/IGES, PDF, DWG/DXF; validate clean SW2022 import
