Develop a house plan in SoftPlan 2026 and provide the file. I'll provide all details - piling depth, ceiling heights, truss heights, particulars for our wind zone, 6" exterior walls, heel heights, 12" overhangs. I'll need your expertise on confirming heel heights and roof pitches for upstairs spaces to work and to allow for windows with egress. i can modify windows doors int door sizes etc. after the fact. single double casement etc. Locate piles where we expect loads. roof will be trussed. you complete plan to the point i can send to the truss company for their design and we can update and finalize. in the meantime i'll have enough to estimate and pull the permit. Previous sow: I am moving from cad to SoftPlan. I am a builder so not a cad expert but know enough. I have a house to draw. I have a sketch of a great plan in cad lt. Getting into sections, stairs, etc. is where I get held up in cad as I don't have time. SoftPlan seems to be the solution and I hope it will be a great sales tool. I'd like to have someone take me through the process. From initial setup in SoftPlan (I've only sketched some walls) through permit ready set.
