The hard part with apocalyptic RAGEMP maps is making the world feel abandoned without turning navigation and performance into a problem. A lot of survival maps look good in screenshots but become frustrating once players start driving, looting, or fighting across the map for long sessions. I’d approach this by separating the map into functional survival zones: dense urban risk areas, low-loot outskirts, industrial supply regions, and quieter transition routes. Building placement matters more than asset quantity. Too many props or poorly streamed interiors usually cause FPS drops and collision issues in RageMP, especially around custom MLOs.
