I’m looking for a detail-oriented mechanical drafter who can take my engineering sketches and turn them into production-ready drawings in AutoCAD. The focus is strictly mechanical design—no electrical or civil work—so every view, section, and annotation must follow standard mechanical drawing conventions. Your work will center on drafting and detailing rather than conceptual design: tolerance callouts, exploded views where useful, clear BOM tables, and tidy layer management are critical. I expect final files in native DWG along with plotted PDFs, ready for shop floor release. Acceptance criteria • Every drawing matches the dimensions and notes provided in my sketches. • Feature control frames and GD&T symbols are applied where specified. • Title blocks are filled in fully and correctly, using my provided template. • All files open cleanly in AutoCAD 2024 without missing references.
