Rick & Morty Style Animation

I have five full seasons of a construction-themed comedy already scripted—each season runs ten episodes at roughly fifteen minutes apiece—and the character designs are about 90 % locked in. The whole show lives in the same irreverent, fast-paced universe you’d expect from Rick & Morty, so I care deeply about nailing that blend of fluid movement, bold character silhouettes and layered, tongue-in-cheek backgrounds. Every gag hinges on three things: sharp, humorous interactions between a big ensemble cast, plenty of on-site construction details (think cranes, tool belts and half-finished drywall), and the unique quirks that make each character instantly recognisable. If those beats pop on screen, the jokes land. Your work begins at rough animatics and runs all the way through final colour. While I’m open to whichever 2D pipeline you prefer—Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, even hand-drawn frames scanned in—I do need clean-up, ink & paint and compositing to retain that Rick & Morty snap without drifting into The Simpsons or Family Guy pacing. Deliverables per episode • Storyboard/animatic timed to my voice track • Final character animation with on-model consistency • Fully painted, parallax-ready backgrounds that match the scripts’ construction settings • Lip-sync and effects passes (sparks, dust, slapstick debris) • 1080p master and layered project files for future tweaks I will provide: scripts, voice tracks, nearly-finished model sheets and a style guide covering colour palettes and line weights. You’ll keep me in the loop through weekly progress clips so we can punch up jokes or tighten timing early rather than late.
