I am building an affiliate marketing site for travel. I like the look, feel, and function of youjoomla destination template. my current provider is joomla 1.6 and therefore this template will not work for it. I also like the look and feel of the DJ travel template. I want it functional, informative, eye catching, and easy to follow. Basically, YouTravel theme from comes with a Newslider Module: "Youjoomla News Slider Module ver.7.0 for Joomla 1.5x" Demo: Basically, this module creates an article and displays both the image and first lines of text in the newslider. The options are limited as it only allows to point to a specific article where that image is. My goal is to control both the image within the module (rather than the article) and #2 control the URL where it points to. I would like to specify the URL whether its another article or an internal/external URL. This is 1/2 day project, should not take longer than that.
