Our hotspot website is using drupal cms for the captive portal/backend, CoovaRADIUS for authentication accounting authorization of wlan users. Wireless hotspot routers are running CoovaAP firmware on the Linksys WRT54GL which interacts with the CoovaRADIUS server. Coova has also provided drupal plugins/modules to integrate everything. Everything is working fine but is a very basic set up, the captive portal has very limited functionality plus there are a few minor bugs which need fixing We need a range of wireless hotspot features integrated, along with a secure payment gateway. The features should be similar to tomizone dot co dot nz Looking for someone who has good experience in coding Drupal, knowledge of RADIUS/OpenWRT would also be an advantage.
Hi! I have a Linksys WRT54GL and have flash it with DDWRT v24 and everything is running fine. Now i would like to set it up so the Wireless is separated from the LAN(mean Wireless connected client will not be able to browse local resource. if possible, not even the router page since its displaying whole lot of info) and limit the Wireless client upload/download speed. p/s- A way to 'load test' the result will be good since we will need time to test it out to make sure it works and stable and everything.

I'm trying to setup OpenVPN client on Linksys WRT54GL. This router is running DD-WRT V24.sp1. When I connect to the Openvpn server from my PC, I have no problem. I can connect and browse the internet. However, if I try the same thing from the router, I can connect to the Openvpn server but I cannot browse the internet. I set up DD-WRT with the same openvpn configuration as my client pc. When I try to connect from the router it authenticates fine and establishes a connection. However, my router now cannot connect to the internet (eg. ) and neither can any devices/pc's connected to the router. I would like to have a remote packet capture device. I need a firmware update for the standard Linksys upgradeable AP's. I would like the AP to receive all 802.11 packets on a configurable channel and transmit them via Ethernet. The 802.11 frame will probably have to be encapsulated in Ethernet so it can be sent to a remote destination but then viewed. The eventual output would be to a .dmp file for WireShark, Omnipeek, Air Magnet etc.
