The project is a reporting tool used with any source data that allows to retrieve a set of data (recordset) trough a sql string and using some custom parameters. The recordset is paste into a new excel sheet and on it an existing macro will run to format the report. All of these can be made on server's side and the result (formatted excel file) should be returned to use. Detail information about the project you will find in the attachements.

This is a small project to create a SP to fetch data from a database, combine certain fields and write them to a specific format in a text file. I will provide the basic database query to fetch the data. The SP will then have to combine certain fields and write one record per line to the text file. I have a car classified ad site that I recently added model listings to the car detail pages. My problem is if the car model is more than one word the model listings are not showing. I have a flatfile recordset of about 5 million records that needs to be converted to a mysql database to go on the internet.
