Hello, l'm trying to use pentahoe pdi transformation for this as it is easier for us to support. basically looking for a pluggin that will spit out differences between 2 tables during our regression test. the table structures are the same and this is oracle db. so duing regression testing between prod and uat, using the same table structure, l only want to see the differences and not bothered about the same same. so if base has 10 columns, target will also have 10 columns. lf columns 1-6 matches between base and target, l don't care to see it, but if column 7, row 50 is different between base and target, l want to see that column and row in the report generated. We have a working Pentaho Bi Server 2.0 RC1 community edition with Tomcat and Jpivot. We have some working schemas and cubes. My current problem is that when a new analysis view is created in Jpivot and then we navigate through the Olap cube to set up the information as needed, and we finally save a lot of the rows of the dimensions childrens go blank. Then we you try to run the saved query again after a restart even and flushing cache it still blank. Typing the query into the Jpivot MDX button gives the same result. I need this fixed since we can't save different analysis views for later easy access.
