We wanted a faster, newer server, so we created an image and we now have a server with 1GB RAM and 20GB SSD. 7 domains are now on the new server. So in theory, the new server with twice as much memory and SSD drives, should have made things much faster. But on this new server we are having memory problems and it goes into OOM state (Out Of Memory) regularly. We'd like to figure out the cause, and also set up a two-core system while we're at it so we can make sure that the index is correctly updated before making it live. We have a Debian Wheezy server on digitalocean.com. Currently we have 4 very low traffic WP sites and 1 low traffic WP sites installed and those sites take up huge amount of CPU and RAM. Dear, I will try to explain my requirements a bit further 1. Searchterms works for IMAP, but not for POP3 2. I have a stacktrace of the OOM. Error occurs when downloading a lot of emails with attachments etc. The Heap grows to about 16Mb. 3. Service crashes because of the out of memory error. Maybe just start it once every 1 minute. When the device is sleeping the service should be killed and when device wakes up again restarted.
