The problem is that if you solve for time step more than 0.01sec it gives an error of "negative volume" in the automesh. I need to make the solution time more reasonable and to solve for 100sec so time step has to be larger than 0.01sec. deliverables: 1. solve the model till 100seconds 2. prepare a small document explaining what you have done. ideas for that is: to define two meshes one with a coarse mesh and one a fine mesh so that the plate will be in contact only with the fine mesh.
