A program to randomly fade in/out the alpha of each of maybe 10 Adobe Animate layers. The easiest way to describe what I need can be found at MyNoise deals with 10 audio tracks, the volume of which can manually set. It also allows for the volume each track to be randomly generated. I would like the same functionality but instead of audio tracks, I would like to vary the ALPHA of various layers in Adobe Animate, thus creating a kind of visual version of what MyNoise is doing. I have a plugin for my site which uses swf files to work properly. With flash being discontinued recently, these files no longer work. However, there is flash emulation available but it only works for AS2 content and not AS3. So I need my swf files converted to AS2 so that I can continue using these files on my site with the plugin I have for my site. I need a function in PHP that will determine Actionscript version of any particular SWF file. The server uses Linux as an OS. Need to be done ASAP. I cannot wait week or even days. Read first 4 bytes of SWF file. First 3 bytes are Signature which reads (CWS or FWS) and next byte is SWF file version. So you don't need any library, just simple File IO will suffice. For actionscript version you need to look for FileAttributes Tag. So here is pseudo code for doing this. (in SWF file data is in Little Endian, so write your readInt or readShort function accordingly).
