I've had the privilege of diving into various fields like healthcare, law, and education, lending my linguistic skills to help folks understand each other better. From translating medical jargon to ensuring legal documents speak the right language, I've been the behind-the-scenes language ninja for organizations big and small. My time at the Panamerican University was a blast! I got to be the voice that helped Spanish-speaking students soak in the wisdom of English-speaking instructors. Plus, I've had my fair share of literary adventures, diving into translating and polishing books to make learning more accessible for students. Ever been to a TEDx event? Well, I've been there too, not just as an attendee, but as a volunteer transcriber and translator, making sure those inspiring talks reach as many hearts and minds as possible.
