Contest Brief

Assume you that a college has multiple clubs like photography club, astronomy club, functional programming group etc. I want a simple app which will be used by all the clubs to interact with the students. Club owners/leaders will post news, events from backend which will reach users. Students will have facility to reach to club owners.

Backend details : Wordpress will be used as backend for this app. Admin will create multiple editors [each editor will be a club]. Every editor should fill mandatory pages About Club, Current Members, Eligibility Criteria, Contact Details, Gallery. Each blog post should be one of these categories : News, Event. Event type blog posts should have date & time as an extra attribute. Install a json plugin which will be able to pull the total data into json format.

You should be able pull current clubs,groups & associations list. For a given club or group should be able to pull all the pages data(i.e about us, contact details etc). For a given club or group should be able to pull all blog posts (i.e events & news). For a given club pull all images.

App details :
a) First time opening of the app should show settings screen which will show all the clubs as groups list and user will be use ON|OFF button to subscribe to the list of clubs of his choice. [Use preferences to find out if user is openings the app first time]

b) No Splash Screen. Opening the app will show the list of clubs to which user subscribed to. User can click on slider to see the clubs list once again to enable disable clubs. [store the current clubs & enabled clubs in sqllite]

c) On the top action bar user will have a button see the latest news/ events from all the enabled clubs.

d) When user selects a club from main screen a mini dashboard for that club will open where he can open about us, contact info, current members pages
or gallery of the club or news, events of that particular club separately and also a small contact us form where he can send a message to club owner.

e) Refer to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.logictree.uspdhub app to know how a hub app design will be. In this contest you are going to create a simple hub app which will pull data from wordpress.

P.S : Obviously I will hire the contest winner to improve this app further with lot of functionality

This project is not suitable for Contest. It's an app and every developer can come out with his unique style.
