Sounds like you need the project coding too, based on this line; "We don't mind whether the site is in wordpress or drupal, but we are expecting to end up with working templates that we can then update with our existing information.".

I'd be happy to code and design; but I'm almost thinking this would be better suited as a project rather than a design contest; as I believe the coding of your website will be the bigger hurdle for any designer.

Hi patrick,
First thank you for sealing the contest it keeps us all honest lol.
The contest option is just the design part of a website, the design is generally in psd format but when submitting a design it can only be submitted only as a png or jpg file. When a winner is chosen then the psd is forwarded to the contest holder (cassallen).
The coding is the other part of a website and usually involves slicing the psd file and coding it into html and css and then into wordpress. With wordpress the following files are required.
header.php
index.php
footer.php
style.css
sidebar.php
other files may be required depending on the site to be developed, these are just the basic files needed.
Other things to consider are if you want a responsive site or not, ie one that is able to viewed on ipads, tablets, androids etc
One option would be to offer the contest winner the chance to code the site into wordpress or drupal for a little extra another would be to put it out to bid.
