Contest Brief
I want something pretty specific. I want a logo that has a red umbrella with two galaxies absorbing one another under it, like they are making love; combining. One galaxy has to be a super nova blue and the other pinkie purple. The logo needs to be in 3 sizes 32x32, 128x128 & 168x120.
The logo is for an open source co-operative that promotes a new way of creating services & products where rather than competing, they work together. Think about how much faster we would progress as humankind if all the research companies in the world started sharing their research. Rather than having 100's of companies doing the same experiments to get results some other company already knew, the knowledge would be open and easily discoverable.
The contest will go for 3 days and a winner is guaranteed. This is my first time posting a contest so excuse me while i get my head around how this all works.

Are you looking for a logo or a campaign image. Because logos are basically art work with simple shapes not realistic images. You liked images (that not a logo) and reject logo like works. And in 32x32px this images make a mesh, and nothing is readable. Even if it is artwork, also there is major possibilities it is not readable in 32x32 px if you whole idea need to implement in the logo.

Hence 'wordless'. I am after something unique that caters to the purpose of the main project that is about people working together, rather than against (our current business model). I really don't think there is a predefined way a logo 'should' or 'shouldn't' be but that's just my way of thinking. Thank you for your input.

Maybe what I said didn't make sense (; I was saying it is made to be small, so when you design it think about it being small. And your other comment about how a logo is ''suppose' to be is very short sighted. If you follow what everyone else is doing you will never stand out, you will only blend in with the crowd. Open your mind.

Okay so I take it my description was lacking. I didn't want to influence and destroy anyones creativity. Everyone is giving me very complicated works, I am after something SIMPLE. An umbrella that's small, not huge or having to cover the bottom images just something small. Two simple non-circle figures that look like they are hugging, combing. Something simple that when you look at in a small, very it is small. The background should have no detail, no stars, nothing; it will be placed on backgrounds.
